The Fashion Sketchpad - 420 Figure Templates for Designing Looks and Building Your Portfolio

Be a fashion designer and create the wardrobe of your dreams
Fashion sketchbook: This fashion design sketch book tool was especially created for aspiring fashion design specialists who love to sketch clothes but don't have the skills (or the patience!) to draw proportional figures. This fashion design book is filled with 420 figure templates or croquis in 20 different fashion-forward poses.

Croquis - It rhymes with "hokey": A croquis is every fashion design specialist's secret weapon, and it can be yours with The Fashion Sketchpad. Designers, both aspiring and established, sketch over croquis figures to ensure their creations are proportional on the first try. Working with a croquis provides a rapid-fire way to present your ideas to fashion design colleagues, admissions committees, or potential employers in a polished, professional format.

The ultimate fashion design sketch book: Printed in a specially formulated Pantone color, the figures disappear from view when photocopied or scanned, eliminating the need to fuss with light boxes or tracing paper. An illustrated garment glossary showing the distinguishing details between a caftan, a sheath, a maxi, and so on - plus additional resources - help fashion design rookies create the wardrobes of their dreams.

If you're a fan of The Curated Closet or Aimee Song's Capture Your Style, you'll love The Fashion Sketchpad.

Happy designing! We can't wait to see what you come up with.

Reviews

"This sketchpad is perfect for brainstorming and drawing fashion designs. It is a large book with lots of room to draw and sketch. The paper is a good, thick quality. There are also some templates in the back to help spark inspiration. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves to fashion sketch or wants to get started!"

"My gf was so happy to get this as present and started to draw in it right away. Verry good quality thick white paper with models in different poses on it is perfect to sketch on. Hardcover to protect pages from damage did it's job during delivery and good as support to draw "on the knee". It even has little place which says "Designs by.." with gold coated place to put your name on - nice little touch. Recommended!"
- Maxim

"If you are looking for something with a template to help you sketch, this is the pad. My daughter is into fashion and this helped her where the templates were on each page. She has loved this sketch pad! Would recommend for ages 10 and up!"

"This was a gift to an up and coming 10 year old fashionista who already designs and sews clothing for the runway. She was so happy to get it and uses it all the time for her sketches."

"My daughter would like to be a fashion designer some day and she loves this book! There are several different poses and angles to design and the people disappear when photocopying the designs. We did not feel any of the poses were inappropriate as some other reviewers have written."
- Mel

"Got this for my 16 year old daughter who loves to design clothes. It has figures already drawn in it, so all she has to do is draw the clothing. It saves her some time, and it also gives great little tips and tricks in the pad as well."
- Kayla Manor

"My daughter absolutely loves this, when it arrived she couldn't be happier with it. The figures are light enough as not to really distract from the drawing and she can make all different fashions, she is 10 so it isn't setting the fashion world on fire but for kids who want to draw fashion you couldn't ask for a better book."
